a 76-year-old white man was murdered at 8 this morning in his house at Luipaardsvlei, Krugersdorp. His name was not made available as his next of kin has not yet been informed.

Hannes Venter ( 59 ) , a smallholder near Rustenburg was shot three times at around 19h30 last night when coming out of his garage when he returned home. He wrestled with his four assailants, who tried to also hit him with a brick and strangle him then fled. His father-in-law, Jaco le Roux , mother , Desiree, her two- year-old sister and both of the grandmothers who are all in the house when they were attacked, escaped virtually unscathed .Hannes underwent surgery today to prevent splinters of the affected vertebrae, injured his spinal cord.

10 March 2014 reported by Anchen Dreyer. On Tuesday evening 25 February 2014, an Afrikaner couple Therese and Hendrik Klopper were attacked and shot down in front of their three children in their home in Tarlton, Krugersdorp.
Therese suffered a bullet-wound in her side where the bullet got stuck.
"After they rushed to Leratong Hospital for emergency help they were refused treatment with the claim that 'the staff did not have time to treat them', and
secondly that they 'first have to clean their wounds writes DA MP Anchen Dreyer, councillor in a place called'Mogale City'.

Germiston murder-victims Philip Jackson and Dillyn Elsley were made to line up before they were executed by two sadistic murderers Thabo Makgothu and Earnest Mashu.
The two killers laughed as they were escorted from court to start serving life sentences.
